Schedule an Appointment

We encourage you to schedule an appointment for vaccines and booster shots to ensure we have vaccines available. Walk-ins are available but we may not be able to accommodate you as our schedule and supplies are limited. Please schedule using MyChart or by calling (415) 476-3307. Please bring proof of vaccination given outside our system. Patients 5 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

To schedule an appointment outside UCSF, please visit your pharmacy’s website, your county's vaccine website, California's My Turn, or the national Vaccines.gov site.

Boosters for Children Age 5 and Older

UCSF is also offering booster shots for all children age 5 and older at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. Children do not need to be existing UCSF patients. For more details on booster shots for children age 5 and older, please visit the UCSF Health Benioff Children's Hospitals website.

Boosters for Adults and Immunocompromised People

UCSF is also administering second COVID-19 booster shots for adults age 50 and over and immunocompromised people to protect against waning immunity. UCSF continues to offer faculty, staff and learners the primary series of vaccines and first booster shots. Please note that it may be quicker to get a vaccine at a local pharmacy or community-based vaccination clinic.
